Most basic FC board that can handle scripting

Hi, I’m building a single-purpose quadcopter for an artwork that involves some custom Lua scripting in Aruducopter.

I had hoped to use some of the SpeedyBee stacks for this, since they are pretty inexpensive and well-regarded in some corners of Online, but it appears from the features.txt file accompanying their firmwares that scripting is not available.

It looks like the MatekH743 might be my best bet, but if anyone is reading this and has more experience, I’d love to hear:

  • have you had success scripting for quads on the MatekH743 firmware
  • are there other low-cost FC boards you’d recommend for basic Lua scripting?

Aby H7 based FC can support scripting. SD carry slot makes it significantly easier as you don’t need to use ROMFS.

Worst case is having to build the firmware which is fairly easy thanks to WSL.
