Mission planner install location

I am using mission planner for rover on desktop computer. I have observed that windows app store and official website version for the mission planner have different sizes. Hence, my question is that are they same in terms of functionality or which one is better?

I am really confused. Please help me.

windows version u download from ardupilot website has been around the longest and has the most features, use it if u can.
