Summary
We notice during our fight test that we get EKF error message from the Mission Planner HUB : “ERROR COMPASS VARIANCE”. The message appear only when we do stronger input.
However, we found neither error message from QGroundControl nor into the log. We don’t understand why.
Then, during the flight, the drone looks stable and doesn’t seems have some sensor issue .

“Compass Variance Error” indicates EKF internal estimate of magnetic direction (from IMU/GPS) not match with the comapass readings, most likely causes are magnetic interference (metal, motors), poor calibration, incorrect compass orientation.
You should fix it on the vehicle. (Most cases are motor/current interference, so check compass location, high current wire routes or do a compassMot calibration)
