Missing Emergency Stop message in ArduRover on Pixhawk 6C-Mini

Hi,

just had an unfortunate issue over a number of days whereby I could not get a throttle output no matter what, Yet everything else was mostly as expected.

Setup:

Pixhawk 6C-Mini

Latest ArduRover

GPS M9N

C1 LIDAR

Couldn’t understand why I had no throttle output, could only arm via switch on GPS and certain command inputs in QGC been ignored.

Turns out an Emergency stop function I had set on channel 8, which also happened to be setup in reverse, caused all the problems.

@tridge Shouldn’t there be a clear message in Ground Control Station indicating that FC is disarmed due to emergency function being activated ?

Instead it showed “ Ready to Fly”, allowed me to change flight-modes and appeared otherwise all fine. Steering and other function worked as expected. Only throttle was affected. –> No message or indication as to why there was no throttle output.

Please add a clear “Emergency stop function activated” or something like it.
