Max Speed of Multirotor in Stabilize mode

Hello all,

I want to limit my quadcopter maximum horizontal speed to 15m/s, both in stabilize and autonomous mode. I checked the parameters list and couldn’t find suitable parameters for this.

Can you please help how to achieve this. Does it require coding beyond parameters?

There is no “manual” mode. If you mean Stabilize there is not a parameter to limit speed. You can limit pitch/roll angle with a parameter. There is a speed parameter in Loiter Mode so use that. In Auto Mode there is a speed parameter also WPNAV_SPEED

Yes, I meant stabilize mode. How do we hard limit the drone speed to a particular value?

Pitch/ roll limit are not hard stopping drone speed. Please help

You don’t in Stabilize mode. Use Loiter and configure the parameters as you like.
