MATEKSYS HW upgrade F405-WING to H743-WING - how to proceed with parameters?

One of my planes is running ArduPlane 4.4.4 on a MATEKSYS F405-WING.
To allow scripting, I will upgrade the HW to a MATEKSYS H743-WING.
In a first step I will not change the ArduPlane version - that should be the second step.

So my question is:
Makes it sense just to save the parameters of the F405 and load it into the H743?
For sure many HW-dependent things like the UARTS have to be changed.
But the plane-tuning related parameters should fit. Is my thinking correct?
Are there any other obstacles in that way?

accel, and compass calibrations would need to be re-done (obvious)

Make sure when you load the param file you do it multiple times, because any _ENABLE setting will need have the controller reset so all it’s sub parameters can be re-loaded.

Thank you @Allister, that’s an important hint.
