Hi everyone,
I hope I am posting this in the correct section.
I am looking for an experienced ArduRover / Pixhawk Cube developer for a contractor role. This could be a short-term or long-term opportunity depending on fit and project progress.
The rover is already fully designed, functional, and currently operates using a standard RC transmitter/receiver. It accepts standard PWM signals for forward, reverse, steering, and related controls.
The high-level scope includes:
-
Pixhawk Cube-based rover automation
-
RTK GPS integration
-
Mission Planner setup for routing, planning, and navigation
-
Obstacle avoidance and emergency stop functionality, preferably using vision if feasible
-
Companion computer integration, such as NVIDIA Jetson Nano or another suitable platform
-
Python development preferred
-
LiDAR coding experience preferred
-
Open to alternative technical approaches for obstacle avoidance and autonomous navigation
When contacting me, please share examples of your past work in this area and be honest about your expertise, comfort level, and what parts of the project you are confident handling.
Please message me if you are interested.
