Logging a 5v Bus using Pixhawk 2.4.8

Hi Guys

I have a 5v bus whose voltage I want to log and be able to see in a log, since there might be aa power loss issue like brownout.

The pixhawk 2.4.8 has a analog port for airspeed which can handle upto 6.6v so I was wondering if i could connect the 5v bus to this pin and connect the common grounds and be able to see this voltage in the logs.

So, is this possible in ArduCopter and what software setup needs to be done?

Thank You !

Try setting up a 2nd Battery monitor for voltage only with the voltage pin set for 5 and connect it to the 6.6V ADC input. Not sure this will work but worth a try.

If that doesn’t work try pin 15

Will try after arranging a 3 pin df13 cable since finding them is very difficult

Or connect your 5vdc to a servo 5v pin where all the motor outputs are - provided none of the servo 5v pins are used for anything else. This should appear in logs under Powr.VServo

Unfortunately I have servos on the 5v rail and hence it is not possible. @dkemxr’s method works fine and I was able to log.

It wasnt a brownout or anything but actually just a problem with my Video RX

For future reference which pin # worked?

Pin 15 worked for me, but with these Pixhawk-called-autopilots you never know what the reality is; might work at 15 or 5 or what not

Ok, thanks. The documentation was not clear.
But the wiki product page has it right
