Lidar liteV3 -i2c non operating

I am using Lidarlite-V3 and connected to I2C.
Press Ctrl+F and press Proximity to see if it works.
But I want to have a stop setting when I meet an obstacle.
I want to know if this works with GPS.
Also, if I don’t have GPS, what kind of data should I refer to?
