LAND mission item at a GPS position returns to launch site

Hey all,

while trying something, I set up a simple mission with a takeoff, two waypoints and a LAND mission item with the position set to the second waypoint.
When I started from different positions, the copter returned to the launch position and did not land where I specified with the GPS pos.
FW Version is 4.2.1
Is that a bug or did I miss some documentation about that?

It returned to launch because RTL was was activated from Failsafe in all those cases.

Perhaps your rangefinder needs attention. Graph the distance from the log it looks bad.
