Just updated the firmware (via Mission Planner drop-down list) from 4.5.x (older flight controller sitting on my shelf) to 4.6.2 - and now I get this error message:
Prearm: ahrs: ek3 sources requires baro.
I checked “features.txt” and it shows that a BMP280 barometer IS included. Any chance that “features” file is wrong?
I built a custom firmware - by selecting “KakuteF7” from the SELECT BOARD drop-down list -made no changes to features.
My baro error message went away.
But OK…here’s the thing.
Why would the Kakute F7’s firmware selected via Mission Planner’s drop-down list be DIFFERENT than building a “stock” Kakute F7 firmware from the custom firmware builder?
Obviously I may be missing something - but I’d sure think those two firmwares would be exactly the same.
In this case, it seems the Mission-Planner-obtained Kakute F7 firmware is missing the BMP280 barometer feature? And now I’m wondering what else might be different.
