IRIS tips on take off

My IRIS tips over to the starboard on lift off. The right side props touch the ground before it is airborne. Full left on the right hand stick makes only a slight difference.

Prior to my attempt to switch to a 9xr transmitter it behaved great.

As part of trying to get the new TX setup I reloaded the parameters, a mistake I think. I did this because it would not arm, it appears that was because the 9xr ppm throttle output was too high, I lowered that with TX trim. It now arms but tips over.

I have tried recalibrating the ESCs but that had no effect.

I would like to re flash the pixhawk and return it to factory settings. How can I do this?

I think I have it sorted out…
I updated the firmware, loaded the IRIS parameters and then calibrated the accelerometer, compass and ESC.
It seems to be running well except… The “elevator” (right stick forward/aft) was reversed, it’s was in altitude hold mode, it’s nice to be able to let go and think a oh what is happening. I reversed the channel on the TX and functions normally now.

I had a HDOP fault but that cleared up after 15mins.

However I have a fail safe kicking in. It’s happened about a minute into all three flights after I sorted out the pitch.

I need to learn some more on this issue… There must be a way to pull RSSI values off the logs and way to set the failsafe sensitivity.

Does anyone have a link or advice on setting up failsafe? I am very happy I set the failsafe to land instead of RTL, I was in a confined and treed area, the climb to 20 meters would have been a catastrophe.

i think you need to calibrate your radio
