IR lock with ardu copter

I want to have precision landing using IR lock as I’m building a drone battery swap station, I haven’t used IR lock before,

I wanted to know, does the yaw of the drone behaves like it does using arcuo tags, I need the drone to always face a specific direction when landing, how can I do that using IR lock precision landing, I can’t use a Visual marker based landing as it will not work in fog,

which ranger finder should I use with it, I want a cheap option for starting, like 15m-20m is pretty good enough for me

and does F405 processors support IR lock Precision landing?
