I wonder if there is any need to correct the information in the ardupilot wiki?

Hello everyone.
If I opened the topic in the wrong place, I apologize.
I think an information correction should be made in the Ardupilot wiki; because although the information explained about the matek f405 standard flight controller (Mateksys F405-STD and variants — Copter documentation) states that this card does not have a barometer, this card does. I would like to draw the attention of the relevant people to fix this problem.
I would like to inform you about the situation as it is necessary

Thank you. şakir polay

Agreed, the wiki is a little misleading, but it does show some of the boards do have a baro. The standard and the CTR.

Sensors

ICM20602 IMU on STD version, MPU6000 on CTR version

BMP280 barometer (STD and CTR)

184A Voltage & current sensor on CTR version

There’s a link on the top right of every wiki page to show you how to make edits. Feel free to make edits when you find errors. These Matek F405 boards are long past their prime so that page probably isn’t getting a lot of attention these days.

The problem is that the warning is most likely a generic tag that’s applied generously to any page that includes hardware without barometers. I looked briefly at updating and decided the juice wasn’t worth the squeeze (for me). If someone more enterprising wanted to separate things out more cleanly, it’s technically appropriate to do so.

a few words added to the warning is all that is required…and has been done

Actually there are 7 (!) different boards F405-based boards by Matek still available to buy (https://www.mateksys.com/?page_id=3834), and they’re still absolutely sufficient for running AP if you’re on a budget and don’t need any special features.

Yup. I have several in arms reach at the moment. But the “current” ones also use different targets from the CTR and STD that the OP was talking about. (I have those near by too… and those are past their prime)

I’m not an expert, for me the old ones work just as well as the new ones. In fact I just noticed (to my own surprise) one of my copters does in fact still run an F405-CTR, so I went to that page. For me it works no different than one running a newer F405-TE.
