How to simulate payload drop in sitl mode

I’m trying to simulate a payload drop mission in mission planner with RealFlight 8 sitl. I’m currently using Mission Planner 1.3.56 version. I was able to create a detachable mass (Payload) on my aircraft using Realflight Vehicle editor. I assigned the triggering camera pan servo to detach the mass because that’s the only servo that is not assigned to anything in the servo options that I’m given. I will be using unknown commend 64 in the mission planner to do payload drop and VTOL landing. Therefore, does anyone know how to trigger steering wheel servo with unknown 64 command? Or know better way to do this in general?

I haven’t tried this myself, but I believe the Gripper function is made for this, which can be commanded with the DO_GRIPPER mission item.

Unfortunately, there’s no DO_GRIPPER command option since I’m connected to Simulation-flightaxis-plane.

You could just use a do set servo in the mission, to set the servo out to whatever will make it release
