How to improve coverage in Magfit tool?

Hi everyone,

i have testing the magfit tool and the magfit helper with some success.

My only question, it how to improve the “coverage” percentage in the magfit web tool.

with a perfect 8 shaped mission generated with the magfit lua script helper, the coverage only cover about 30%.

have another method o trick or mission movement to improve these coverage?

Even there, the magfit tool have improved a lot my compass interference in the ekf stimator hud and remove yaw reset ground anomaly errors and yaw inbalances at takeoffs

i use too the battery 1 current, offsets and scales

The tool also provides a “Coverage” bar, this represents how many vehicle orientations are present in the log, the higher the coverage the more confidence you can have in the results. It is all possible orientations including upside-down, so your unlikely to get more than 40% unless you flying in acro.

Realistically if you’re getting 30% you’re doing really well. May the coverage bar could be scaled for non-acro drones, but for now I wouldn’t worry about it. Sounds like you’re doing well with the tool so keep doing what you’re doing.
