How to be most helpful when finding something and knowing the fix

In AP_OSD.cpp
The doxigen on line 48 for the OSD_TYPE values should have a 5th entry 5 MSP_DisplayPort.

Simple to fix.
For me to be most helpful here what should I have done?
File a bug report?
Tell everyone here…as I’m doing…
Fix it and then submit a push request?
(I’ve never done a push request what should I know to do this?)

Something else?

Are the docs in the parameter tree in mission planner autogenerated from this doxigen, or should something else be fixed as well?
