I wanted to see if Autotune would improve my settings for forward flight in plane mode, but the RC channel options do not list it. There is AUTOTUNE parameters for selecting axes to tune, but how do you invoke the Autotune. And my understanding is that Quicktune works only for the Hover mode, not forward flight mode.

yes, there is no flight mode autotune in mission planner. I.e. I can not find a way of invoking Autotune flight mode from the Mission Planner Options. The Ardupilot version is 4.6.3
Oh thanks, never would have found it. Stupid of me. I assumed it would be selectable on some RC channel!
Most modes are but not all. And to be fair I have never invoked this on a VTOL but that’s how you would do it for a standard Plane so it should work.
