How Mission Planner for all operations with Pixhawk?

HI, Yesterday I turned it on for the first time, and I installed the “okto” firmware, everything ok.

I used Mission Planner 1.2.97
Do I have to use Mission Planner 2.0 for all operations or can I continue to use the version 1.2.97 ?
