Hot Motors /Althld drifting

Running Arducopter 4.3.4 on a new build. Setup all the parameters with the initial parameters setup to do a auto tune test. x8 config 12s Lumenier Lux H743 FC APD 120 F3 esc 10inch build. Starting getting a lot of drift while trying to perform autotune. Landed after 4 min of trying and notice motors were pretty hot. Curious if anyone can point me in the right direction!!

Thanks

Will be noise, check your FFT

Try dropping these:
PSC_ACCZ_I,1 (set to 2X MOT_THST_HOVER)
PSC_ACCZ_P,0.5 (set to MOT_THST_HOVER)
And set this:
INS_ACCEL_FILTER,10

Thanks I will adjust and look at the FFT.

It looks like the FFT filter is missing the 100Hz peak (FTN>NF1) . Not much energy there so perhaps no big deal. I would use ESC RPM instead.

Makes sense I’ll stay with esc rpm. Thanks buddy.

Made the adjustments just wondering if the ALTHLD drifting is in some way me needing to bump up D term correct me if I’m wrong.

Maybe just fly around in AltHold and post a log of that rather than an Auto Tune log.

Ok will do I’ll send a log

I don’t see much to complain about here:

Check the foam on the Baro I guess.
