Hi guys! I am trying to integrate the Hobbywing Brushless RPM Sensor into my VTOL.
FC is Orange Cube+
So, set up is
AUX OUT 6 - Servo out 14 -1(GPIO)
RPM1_TYPE - 2 (GPIO)
RPM1_PIN - 55 (AUX6)
RPM1_MAX - 10 000
RPM1_MIN - 10
RPM1_MIN_QUAL -0.5
RPM1_SCALING - 0.5
So, the problem is readings
For PWM 1000 - RPM 3692, For PWM 1500 - RPM 3850 For PWM 2000 - RPM 3730
As you can see the readings is not proper with real RPM, and I dont know how to fix it, of course I played with all RPM parameters.
Any one who make this sensor working Im asking your help!
Sank you guys for your help!
!!!Problem solved, need 5v on servo rail.
Examine the signal at the FC with an oscilloscope. Perhaps there are glitches which could be filtered with an external RC circuit at the sensor.

Have one of those HW RPM sensors here and just a short test. BL motor - controller - servo tester.
Signal does not look bad here.

Better add a propeller for increasing current, and test again.

Did you get any good RPM? I did check also with the oscilloscope, but the graf is not the same.
Can you post a picture?
Hi guys! Everything is working fine! Just need to put 5v on servo rail, thats all! So, for RPM sensor need 5v on the red wire of JR that we connect to FC.
