I am making a 1200mm hex and I am having issues with the hk flow sensor. as of now the flow sensor works when I directly connect it to the usb (as if I was updating the firmware, it lights up and can connect in MP and focus it) but once I connect it with the i2c it acts like no power.
I also read that it is the same but different connectors in the px4flow home page, but it doesn’t say what is different about the connectors. do I need to use the uart connection for the flow sensor?
Anyways can someone please assist me getting this setup?
Your px4flow is using molex connectors instead of hirose. But The real issue is, that it seems, that i2c gnd and vcc wires are not distributing the power to the px4flow. But clock and data wires are working. So when you connect px4flow to i2c connector and you will use usb connector only as a power source. Px4flow will work. That is only way how i managend to make it work. I would like to know if there is way how to use i2c gnd and vcc wires as well if possible…otherwise it is faulty product…
Hi,
I had the same problem. Unfortunately I found the datasheet of the px4flow to be incorrect. Using the connector as described in it the PX4FLOW, it doesn’t work. I left the 5V wire and the gnd wire as in the standard of the i2c and not in the way described in the datasheet. Now it works for me.
Hope this could help you.
