Herelink or siyi unirc 7 pro?

Since the herelink has went way up in price and buying a second air unit is about the cost of the siyi. I need a second air unit for another drone I built.
Someone talk me off the ledge of selling my herelink for something different.

Or maybe another, better option than either one of these?

Hard to say what is the best for you.

Herelink is a good system but its a bit out of date now ( no usb c or quick charge)

Siyi is a new design with not alot of users yet, there might be some growing pains.

Support is very iffy with both. No phone for both, just email for siyi and a forum for CubePilot.

Thanks for your feedback, Tristan.
I agree that voice support is always the best from customer view. Actually SIYI does offer support phone call for domestic market and it works daily. And we do see there is a long way to go for offering the same to global market considering language barrier and time zone difference.
For now, if customers/users do expect for a voice/video call, I’d suggest that they can try to make an appointment through email first, and we’d better focus on those cannot be taken care of easily through email or whatsapp messages

Herelink hardware is not as good as in Siyi but it works it has good signal transmission tested by many users. Herelink has updates which repaired many problems. SIYI is a black box you can’t imagine problems which can occur. In my opinion support for SIYI is worse than for Herelink because it is based on one person on that forum. They have also smaller amount of arducopter users. I have bad experience with SIYI, they have no idea about video standards, they do not update firmware for earlier revisions of their hardware so for example I have time-lapse video not smooth transmission.
Herelink is much more reliable If you can live with poor quality sticks and wheels.
