I have a TX800 VTX from Speedybee. It uses IRC Tramp protocol. So, I have connected its IRC pin to the TX of Serial5 on the pixhawk 2.4.8.
So, I want it to be 25mw when not armed, and switch to full 800mw when armed.
How to do this?
The only option you have is pitmode while disarmed. So you can achieve 800mw armed but not 25mw disarmed.
That also works.
How to set it up?
Btw is there some way to assign a 2pos switch to two purposes? It can be arm switch and vtx power switch?
VTX_OPTIONS allows you to set this

What do I need to set the bit to?
This is just switch mixing on your transmitter. Mix the same switch positions to 2 channels then configure those channels however you like in Arducopter.

I don’t think you need 2 channels to do what you want, I was just suggesting a method to do so in general.
Configure a switch for Arm/Disarm (RCx_OPTION,153) and VTX_OPTIONS,4 (Pitmode when disarmed)
