Help saving parameters for servo channel

I am doing a first setup for my rover. I have never used Ardupilot before. I am following the instructions in the Wiki. I’m sure there is a simple answer to my problem.
When I change a parameter (e.g. throttle to ch2 vice 3) it is not being saved.
I am re-booting by disconnecting and reconnecting the USB cable to my Pixhawk.
Appreciate some help.

After changing the parameter value, click write params.
