Initially I thought it would be a good idea to fill the post with the same markdown code I had on github and keep that updated when my README changes. But now I realize it was a bad idea:
1- It appears there is a limited number of times I can edit the post (I can no longer see the edit button)
2- I noticed that whenever I edited the forum post, my post would move to the top of the post list.I’m not sure if this is appropriate or desirable by the community.
Actual condition is post information is outdated and contain brokesn links (of old images I had in github and referenced by the markdown code).
Ideally I should edit the post, insert a simple generic description including a link pointing to the github project, and nothing else.
Post the content you wish to include in your original post as a reply in this topic. Recommend leading with an image that captures the spirit of the post. I will handle the edits and remove this topic when complete.
Thereafter, you can reply in the topic to provide updates rather than trying to keep the original top level post up to date.
I made this EdgeTX script as alternative of great yaapu telemetry script, aimed to small memory radios (like mine Radiomaster TX12 first version). Script can be run on color screen radios as well. Script contains basic telemetry screen with scroll capability, dedicated ardupilot’s frsky passthrough protocol messages and a map screen with manual navigation options.
Key features
Lightweight
Can be used with other firmwares (besides ardupilot) trought EdgeTX usual telemetry
Manual navigation like in handheld GPS units
‘velocity’ heading method available. For navigation capability using just gps (without a compass)
Telemetry screens can be easily customized or created if you have knowledge of luascript (aditional screens are recognized by the menu system automatically)
Project and more information can be checked in github:
