Heewing FX-405 flight controller servos not working

I am using a Heewing FX-405 flight controller ( my first flight controller). I am able to arm and manage modes but am unable to move the servos at all. Ailerons are connected via Y adapter to S1, elevator to S2, motors to S7, S8 & S9. Receiver to RC-IN. All per the documentation provides. Ardupilot was flashed from the factory so I do not know the exact version, but I believe it to be 4.2.

I’ve been all over the internet/Ardupilot web site and used the options provided to get arming and modes working but I cannot get the servos to move although it looks like the software recognizes the sticks moving. Any help appreciated, Thank you.

Got the manual?

Thanks, yes I do have the manual. I got it before I got the controller. I have the modes and arming setup but can’t get the servos to move. They are connected to the correct pins and in Ardupilot when you move the sticks, on the PC monitor it reflects the movement.

The servos are new and when connected to a standalone receiver move as expected.

The GPS is functioning and all three motors initialize and respond to the throttle.

Just something in Ardupilot that has me stumped.

Open to suggestions, thanks.

Do servos receive power? Check with voltmeter between GND and VCC (black and red).

Voltmeter show 01! Subsequent test of motors shows motors 1 & 2 run as expected but motor 3 does not run nor does it seem to be connected as there are no beeps acknowledging the esc connection. Seems like I have a defective unit.

If you supply the FX-405 with FX-405-PMU check FX-405-PMU 5V output, and if you have 5V on the FX-405 servo supply pins, without and with elements connected.
