Hard crash landing

I have a question with my drone. This is the second time that I flew it for a few minutes before it did a hard crash. I was trying to land it, and the response of the drone doesn’t seem to have a like a slow hovering response when it tries to land. To me, it seems that the sticks seem to have a quick reaction. How can I adjust the parameters for throttle to where it almost does it slow slowly before having to do it quick response to it for landing?

Please post the .bin log file from the flight.

Also describe the copter, like takeoff weight, props, motors, ESCs, battery and anything else that might be useful to know.

how to i get the .bin log file ?

i have a S500 drone frame
3s lip battery 5200mah
pixhawk 4
holybro Power Module PM07
920 kv motor
using a FlySky FS-i6 AFHDS 6CH Transmitter
but I replace the 3s with a 4s.

This is the way.

I think i did it correctly. I was trying to upload the bin file on here but it says it too big …

Sure it is. Post a link to the file you have placed on a file storage site.
Auto Analysis is useless.

Did you take a look at the bin log? Making sure I did it right…,

Did what right? The parameters are at default, not even Initial Tune Parameters set, so the answer would be no. Also you have Dshot configured but are missing other parameters to enable it so you have PWM.

As far a crashes go; from the log it looks like you are struggling with Stabilize flight throttle response. This just takes practice.

And it’s a very bad idea to turn off all Arming checks.

So yea, plenty wrong. I would suggest resetting all to default and use the Methodic Configurator

I appreciate your input. To clarify, I haven’t made any parameter changes, which aligns with what you mentioned. My question was whether I need to adjust any parameters.

Regarding DShot, I’m not entirely sure what steps I should take, as I’ve never fully understood its configuration. Any guidance on that would be helpful.

As for Stabilize mode, is it normal for the drone to have such a rapid throttle response? I always assumed that when flying a drone, there would be more of a hovering effect. I’m not sure how to describe it, but I expected more stability. Would switching to Return-to-Land mode be a good option for smoother landings?

I honestly can’t recall why I chose to disarm. It’s possible that the toggle switch wasn’t working correctly, but I don’t remember exactly. That might have been the reason disabled it

Click the link above and follow the instructions.

Yes. Once your craft is configured and tuned properly you can use an assisted mode like Loiter but you need to be able to fly in Stabilize anyway.

Enable it for all checks.

Thank you ! I’ll do just that. Im going to wait on my new landing pads and make some changes and try again later
