This is my latest project which should be used in my son’s business for pest control.
I have glued 2 Lidar I had for years laying around together.
One for object avoidance and the other terrain following. FC = Cube Orange plus.
The drone has not taken off yet but motors are all turning correctly.
The lidars are connected via AUX5 and Aux3 - PWM. Each signal wire has a 1kohm resistor soldered on.
My testing after all the relevant settings is negative.
My conclusion is that those Lidars maybe faulty. Even one was never in a RC model.
My Question here now is, could somebody tell me how can I check a Lidar if it is in good working order?
A photo of the two Rangefinder glued together with a bit of black silicon. Because the stickers have been removed sometime ago I do not know the exact lidar-models.
Btw. I am now in my seventies.
Thanks Fred
Because nobody who has read this knows how to test those older style Lidar units I give up and purchase brand new Benewake units. Hopefully I get those working or help from you if not.
