GSoC 2026: Real-Time Companion-Computer Health Monitoring – Lasya Putcha

Hi everyone! I’m Lasya Putcha from India. I am very interested in the Real-Time Companion-Computer Health Monitoring & Failsafe project (175h).

I have a background in Python and Data Science, and I’ve been learning how companion computers (like Raspberry Pi/Jetson) interact with flight controllers. I have already set up the ArduPilot development environment and SITL on my machine.

I’m excited to get involved and would love to know if there are any ‘Good First Issues’ or specific parts of the MAVLink documentation I should study to help with my proposal!
