GPS: No fix

Hello everyone,

I have a problem with my new NEO-6M GPS Module. On the flight data, I’ve got the message : “GPS: No fix”, and I can’t get the GPS to work.

Could someone help me ?

I already searched on Google but I found nothing that helps me.

@Bilow,
I believe that the Ardupilot firmware is not designed for the NEO-6M or the NEO-6M has to be reprogrammed to work with the Ardupilot firmware.

@Bilow,
I am no expert on the NEO-6M GPS as it is not the GPS used with the APM which is the LEA-6. Your best bet would be to go to the DIY Drones website diydrones.com/ and see if one of the members there who has experience with the NEO-6M can help you.

Thank you. The problem is solved : I went outside and I had the message “GPS: 3D fix”.

But maybe I’ll have problems with this GPS, I haven’t tested it yet.

Inside my house, I can usually get from 6 - 9 sats depending on how cloudy it is on any given day.
