GPS indicator light not working

I have a new Holybro Pixhawk 6C Mini flight controller on a Holybro X500 quadcopter. I only have about 30 minutes of flight time on the aircraft. A few weeks ago I noticed that the big, green/yellow/red indicator LED in the center of the M9N GPS module was not coming on. The aircraft still seems to arm ok, but I was concerned about this situation, so I replaced the M9N GPS with an identical new one. The new one behaves the same as the old one. Is there some setting in the firmware that would have deactivated this LED? Or what might be the issue? I don’t get any warnings in Mission Planner about a faulty indicator light.

The LED Driver of the M9N is using the same I2C Bus as the compass.
Is the compass showing up correct? If so the problem is mot probably not on M9N side but on FC side.
Which LED driver NTF_LED_TYPES you are using. Is this matching with your M9N as there are differnent versions in the field.
Also it is possible that the LED brightness NTF_LED_BRIGHT is set to off.
