Getting "the given key was not present in the dictionary" when loading any mission

I got a message a while ago that there was a new version of mission planner so I let it upgrade.
Ever since then I get a message when loading missions “the given key was not present in the dictionary”
Any idea why that might be?

Replying to my own post: reverting to version 1.3.82 fixes it for me. Not sure what happened in the latest version.

The issue is caused by custom/unknown command(s) in the mission file.
I sent in a fix, while it got accepted, you can add your custom command into mavcmd.xml file in the programfiles(x86)/MissionPlanner folder as a temporary solution.

Thanks so much for the quick response. I’m not sure how I have unknown commands in my waypoints. I will try the work around in the meantime.

The other possible cause it that you try to load a plane mission while the MP is set up for copter.
The default for MP is copter if you don’t connect to a vehicle. Then the last connected vehicle type remains until you connect.
You can set the default vehicle type by changing this line in the config.xml file.
