Fun with reverse thrust

I am trying to set up reverse thrust for ArduPlane 4.6.1 and
esc Racerstar RS30A Lite with BLHeli_S 16.5 and dshot300.
The esc is set to “3D mode Rev”.
RC15_OPTION is 64 and can be set by a switch.
Forward thrust works as expected.
If I switch to Reverse thrust the motor direction changes but
the throttle stick is reversed, meaning low is full power and high is off.
The servo output in MP looks as expected.

it’s working now.
I changed the following.
Flashed esc to Bluejay 0.18.1, same behaviour.
Instead of setting motor direction in the esc, I set
