Hi guys I’m planning to do full Chip Erase in Pixhawk Cube Orange Plus. Can anyone guide me how to do full Chip Erase
If you just mean erasing all previous parameters you can just do “Reset to defaults”, or the old fashioned way: Load Plane firmware (or rover) then load Copter firmware again.
I was doing the firmware swap Rover to Copter and even I did reset to default. But some values are still same. I’m unable to clear.
You can’t easily place a Cube series autopilot into DFU mode. Disassembly is required.
Flashing Plane then Rover should do it. The two branches conflict heavily enough to wipe each other out.
What values? Any of these procedures work Reset to Default. Read the Note.

They have defaults. They do not simply disappear.
No, I can’t tell you how to put it into DFU mode. First, because it’s unnecessary and will likely damage/destroy your hardware. Second, because I don’t actually know where the BOOT/RESET pins are located on the board other than that they are beneath the near permanently affixed enclosure.
So what? I don’t see your point. If you want to waste some more time load the PX4 flight firmware and then back to Arducopter.

See I’m in a process of learning to do how to do full Chip Erase. Because I have changed the firmware version. But I don’t know how it’s happening. I tuned my Quad in some process and i reviewed some param values like MOT_THST_HOVER and so on etc.. And now Im changing my frame to Hexa. But the value which I get for my Quad is the same initial value for my Hexa. So I started thinking like why don’t I try for full Chip Erase. But I have swapped the firmware but it still the same value. For i thought I could give a try for this process.
Follow the linked instructions. They work. There’s no need for DFU mode, and there’s no reasonable way to enter it.
