I have my long range fpv set up but im looking to get some more range out of my iris. upgraded my radio antenna to a 2.4ghz 5db whip antenna and I’m wondering if I should also upgrade the antenna on the outer shell of the iris. But I’m not sure what frequency it is…2.4? or 915mhz…should I even upgrade it? I know my telemetry is 915 can I also upgrade that antenna for better telemetry range?

just to clarify I want to boost my radio controller to long range.i already upgraded the radio antenna,about the antenna on the outer shell? what frequency is that?
Not meaning to be an a$$ but you need to spend some time learning about what you have, the antenna you’re talking about is your telemetry radio antenna, if you have a stock Iris…
Receiver antenna is taped to inside of the shell, again if it’s a stock Iris…
Also if your radio is 2.4ghz your receiver will be 2.4ghz also.
Seriously spend some time learning about what you have and what you’re doing, it’ll save you money in the long run.
