Recently I needed a little help remembering how to use the Filter Review tool for tuning a dynamic notch filter.
I received some really helpful input about a brand new parameter needed for this now - so new that it’s not even in the ArduPilot Parameter-List/Wiki yet: INS_RAW_LOG_OPT
I dug into the new change, with the help of Microsoft CoPilot - which has the ability to sort through many sources I don’t regularly visit - such as DEV commentary and change logs.
I found a wealth of helpful information - and thought it would be helpful to the next person learning about this new capability. (especially since it’s not yet fully documented)
I received a caution that AI content is discouraged from this forum. I’m sure there are pros and cons about such inclusions. But in my opinion - it was valuable information that was worth sharing.
I saw today that @amilcarlucas had edited my post. On my account, this content shows highlighted in red - I presume that means to others that it’s been deleted.
If so, I’m greatly offended by this. This forum is about exchange of information to help others.
I can see legitimate reasons for correcting information in a comment. But to simply delete information in a comment is wrong.
We asked you to delete that information. You did not do it yourself, so I did it for you.
I did not plan to offend you, I helped you and future users of the forum. The results of your research are still documented on the thread. The incorrect information is deleted.
Deleting incorrect information is always right. This forum does not require “fake news”.
There’s no “official policy” to exclude AI content. I did nothing wrong.
All it would take is to ask AI to format it’s information in a format that appears like a normal post. Leaving it’s format simply allows people to benefit from an easier to understand format - and understand it’s context.
If any of the content was incorrect - you would have every right to note the error - and offer a correction. Were there any errors?
We moderate this forum for the benefit of all who view it. A wall of largely incorrect, pasted text is not particularly helpful and only serves to frustrate by forcing those who know better to scroll past it, and wastes the time of those who don’t.
You seem to think this was some sort of punitive action. You did nothing specifically wrong, and neither did the moderator by exercising his due diligence to keep the discussion on track.
Do you have any specific questions? It seems the topic has been addressed in place.

You want us to use our time to correct errors in AI generated content.
We refuse to do that. We choose instead to use our time to improve the wiki and the code.
Both the wiki and AMC tell you how to correctly configure your ArduCopter because we spent our time working on that.
AMC has 0 known issues/bugs, because whenever someone reports an issue, we take the time fix it ASAP.
These are demands, not specific questions that would help move that topic forward.
Otherwise, refer to my previous response regarding no rules broken and moderator due diligence. We don’t need (or want) a specific policy to dictate every moderator action.

The moderators correctly removed your AI post because it did not benefit ArduPilot or the community.
Complaining about being censured is not the appropriate response. I have turned on post approval for your account so a moderator will have to approve every post you make.
