Follow me Mode(With Offset)

I want to fly a drone in auto mode like 50 meters ahead of me. Currently with follow me mode what’s possible is that the drone directly fly above the external gps but I want to put an offset inside that of few meters ahead. I tried doing this with existing parameter list but it did not work. Any suggestions how to implement this??

Be careful not to confuse “Follow Me” with “Follow”

(I wonder if you were trying “Follow Me” mode, but using parameters like FOLL_* which are for “Follow” mode. That would explain why they had no effect.)
