What is the correct Arducopter target (if exists) for this board instead out of the box BetaFlight FW?
I understand that it is a bit crazy idea but let’s assume it as a research case at least.
I already tried FlywooF405S-AIO and BETAFPV-F405 (mentioned in Ardupilot docs) targets with versions 4.6.2, 4.6.1 and 4.4.0.
I tried to get RC control through built-in ELRS receiver on FC’s UART3 (Serial3) internally connected to built-in receiver’s UART.
Settings by MissionPlanner:
- FRAME_TYPE = 1 (+)
- FRAME_CLASS = 12 (BetaFlightX)
- SERIAL3_PROTOCOL = 23
- RSSI_TYPE = 3
- RC_OPTIONS set to “Use 420kbaud for ELRS PROTOCOL”
- RC_PROTOCOL: only CRSF flag activated (SBUS also tested, see below).
No results - no reaction on sticks at Radio calibration page:
- Empty bars if FlywooF405S-AIO flashed.
- Freezed random stick values if BETAFPV-F405 flashed.
Additionally: - Different Serial3 baudrate tried.
- All other Serial ports (1-6) has been tested also.
- SBUS and CRSF tested (with appropriate adjustments in RX through Lua).
What could be a reason? Does anybody know if it is really possible?
I can only guess that two targets mentioned above are not compatible with this board although they are both for F405 CPU.
