Hello, we are just first time going to do an underwater ROV competition, and we were referred here to start learning about ArduPilot. We have no experience in this topic yet. Can someone help us get started please - previously asked questions - It’s for middle school.

If you want any suggestions besides “read the wiki” you need to ask more precise questions.
To be fair, the wiki has most of the stuff you need to know. Read it and ask questions about stuff here might be the best course of action for you
I guess in terms of the controllers / hardware, I do see many options here, are there any suggestions as to what initial setup is less hassle to work with for 7-8th graders… the autopilot is I think what I’m referring to
