Finding cause of crash using only tlog

Hi Dave, I agree that the motors don’t will spin the props with this high rpm, but without prop just only the motor itself.
All information shows that you lost thrust on this motor, the ESC was commanded by the FC to the maximum but instead of drawing high power the power goes down while the RPM goes up. This is significant for either a total lost of the prop or the motor turns free without turning the prop.

Hi Juergen-Yes, the log supports that.

Note-Of course I would never paste an LLM output here  but you can throw that Tlog file into your favorite (in my case a paid version) and produce the same conclusion. Very odd though that Boris is reporting the props attached and seemingly functional. It’s a mystery. Unfortunate conclusion for such an expensive craft.

I think I will plot that and frame it, and offer coffee for whoever guesses what was happening… as a reminder of this unfortunate incident.

I agree with Dave that this may be all there is in terms of troubleshooting on the basis of a tlog alone. We are building the next one with both bdshot and canbus giving it a a form of redundancy on the signal wiring side, and hope this was a one-off / short straw / stuff happens event.

Thanks for the advice and support!

Boris
