I’m really happy with the results of Autotune in Plane, and would not want to manually try to tune each of the settings it tunes. But the deeper I get into Plane, and more parameters I find, and I realize I’m just not going to adjust, even though they may make improvements. There’s just too many for someone who’s not an aviation engineer.
I request a secondary autotune procedure, where Plane flies a safe high altitude mission and, through similar methods used in regular Autotune, discovers it’s ideal parameters for TECS, auto-landing, and others.
