For a 25kg-class multirotor (hexa/octo, large props, heavy-lift build), is mounting the flight controller on anti-vibration shock-absorbers/dampers still generally recommended, or is rigid/hard-mounting increasingly preferred at this weight class — relying on the harmonic notch filter alone rather than mechanical isolation?
It’s always better to solve the problem at it’s source:
- balance the props,
- balance the motors,
- Use a rigid frame
When all that is done, mount the FC rigid to the frame. If that still has too much vibes, use dampers.
So basically use them as the very last resort.
