I have a full size TBS Crossfire and receiver. I have it connected to a Spektrum NX8 via serial port. Im wondering how I can use the TX module to wirelessly configure the flight controller. I know it supports MAVLINK and CRSF of course. I don’t think I can connect to the TX using WiFi since I’m not using the JR Module which im pretty sure contains the wifi hardware. Bluetooth seems to get stuck when I connect to mission planner at “Getting Params”. It still gets telemetry data though. Anyone know if this is possible? Ideally, I want to be able to get telemetry show up on mission planner and be able to modify parameters on the fly without needing to land the plane and connect to it via usb.
TBS crossfire has a very limited MAVLink support. It only supports some of the messages and at a reduced update rate.
Lots of users complain about this including myself.
The only proper solution is to not complain here, but to complain directly to TBS. Otherwise it will never get fixed

I see. Thats a shame really, it’s otherwise a very good RC Link from my experience. Very unfortunate
The only reliable way to change (some) parameters on CRSF radios is to use TBS Agent (or ELRS Lua if running ExpressLRS) which isn’t available for Spektrum radios.
As of now ExpressLRS is adding support for MAVLink, it is implemented and will be officially released with 3.5.
