Hello, i have 2 F9P on a boat that i would like to use for heading. I see there is a configuration guide wich i will follow.
I wonder if i have to make any configuration on the units apart to eventually update the firmware.
On the GPS configured as base i will inject RCTM corrections from a raspberry on serial port 2 i was wondering if autoconfiguration of ardupilot will change configuration on that port at every boot (i will configure it to receive RCTM messages and output nmea).
As long as you follow the instructions to make sure that the firmware is new enough, and follow the installation and configuration guidelines, ardupilot should take care of the rest.
You’ll have to leave auto config enabled due to an explicit hardware check in the ublox driver.
Thank you, i just updated both units to latest firmware 1.51. What i was wodering is if need to load some configuration or just connect them to the ardupilot and let it do its things in autoconfig.
Obviously following all the steps in the ardupilot wiki.
