Extern. Compass Orientation

Hi pro´s,

installed my new external compass (original 3DR), but have problems with his orientation.

The Wiki is not up-to-date since you can modify orientation im MP.
But how to do it? What is Yaw, Roll, Pitch? Are these axis the Copter axis or the Mag-board axis??

Cant get it to work.

Can somebody help pls.

X-arrow is pointing forward (in flightdirection)
Y-arrow is pointing left
Z- is pointing upwards (think thats the dot you can see for the z-axis?)

Made a picture for better understanding.

Thanx in advance
Dirk

@critical,
Did you change the compass voltage jumper to the 3.3vdc position?
Did you make sure that the onboard compass jumper is properly cut?
What version of the APM are you using?
How did you connect the compass cable wires to the APM? It looks like you did not use the four wire cable that is used to connect the compass to the APM2.x I2C port.

Everything is fine finally.
After sleeping few hours I got it. Did it by Try and Error.
By the way: External Compass is the biggest improvement I`ve done last 3 month. Copter is flying much better, Loiter is a dream.

Thanx to all

Cheers
Dirk

Can you please post a overall pic of your multiroter I want to see how far did you mount your compass from ESC’s and PDB?
