Im currently on a pixhawk 2…4.8.
using frsky 8xr receiver.
My transmitter is radiomaster tx 16s Mark II.
Also using yappu telemetry.
What I would like to do is use the ranger Micro tx and rp1 receiver using expressLRS and receive yappu
telemetry on this setup.Im using version 4.55 on pixhawk in mission planner.Can this be done?
If so,How?
If you have the 4in1 version of the TX16S, you’ll need an external module for ExpressLRS. This is what I use, and it works quite well.

Would the radiomaster ranger micro work?
There are two versions of the TX16S Mark II. One has an internal ExpressLRS module. The other has a 4in1 module that supports FrSky, among other protocols. If you have nothing in the rear bay and are using FrSky receivers, you have the 4in1 version and need an external module.
The Ranger Micro looks like RadioMaster’s ExpressLRS solution for the 4in1, and it should work fine. Get the FCC version of that module if you are in the US.

Im trying to get yappu temetry to work.No luck.I’m using serial4 for elrs.
But, I have the yappu adapter connected to serial2.Am I wrong?

You don’t need any adapters. Remove whatever mystery hardware is connected to SERIAL2.
Shows telemtry on telem screen but not on main yappu screen.
Mode switch on ch5.Had on 12. when on 12 I could switch flight modes.
Your communication is so brief, it’s hard to know what to tell you. Provide the steps you used, the settings you have, the exact hardware in use, etc.
Also, channel 5 is NOT to be used for mode switching. It’s a discrete two position channel intended for use with the arming function.
Ardupilot 4.55 copter.
Ch12 modes.
Radiomaster tx 16s and rp1 receiver(EXTERNAL MICRO TX).
Serial2 has the receiver,which binds with transmitter.
In expresslrs tx settings 1:2 (2921).link is mavlink
In expresslrs rc settings link CRSF.
Serial2 set 115200 and rcprotocol 23.
RSSI is set to 3.
Model settings are for CRSF.
In YAPPU CONFIG IS SET to CRSF pass through.
When I use use internal multi with 8XR RECEIVER EVERYTHING WORKS
WITH YAPPU TELEMETRY.(WITH YAPPU ADAPTER CONNECTED.
I took your advise and disconnected the YAPPU adapter when using
Expresslrs. It says telemetry is connected but nothing shows on YAPPU
TELEMETRY SCREEN.i can change flight modes and that’s it.
