I’m working on an eVTOL project using Cube Orange and ArduPilot, and I need some guidance regarding motor configuration. I’ve attached a figure showing my setup. The design includes multiple motors for vertical lift and separate motors for forward flight.
My main question is:
Can I configure my aircraft using a standard HEXA layout in ArduPilot (for the vertical lift motors) without doing any custom motor mixing or additional coding?
I’m trying to avoid writing custom motor mixing code or modifying the firmware. I want to use the built-in motor configuration options as much as possible.
Any advice on how to set this up in a clean and stable way would be greatly appreciated!
