Esp 32 c3 - seeed studio setup

Newbie question - I am trying ESP32-C3 board for Wifi Telemetry for Arducopter 4.6.3.

Do I need to solder the wire in the notch, as in the picture below, or in the hole next to the notch for the RX pin on the ESP32-C3 pin. Same question for the 5V and GND pins

My confusion comes from the statement “Connect the Pixhawk telemetry TX pin to a free ESP32 GPIO (see exceptions above) - note the GPIO number, not the D#! This pin will be configured as TX in the web interface.” made on this page.

Also, is the RX pin below already configured as RX pin or does it need to be programmed (never done any ESP32 programming, but would be willing to give it a shot :slight_smile: )

I would solder wire through hole.

Also… how this can be confusing?
Can’t You see that “the notch” and “the hole” next to it are the same pad?
