ESC Throttle Calibration Range?

When you preform the ESC Calibration does it use MOT_PWM_MIN and MAX parameters?

I believe they have default values and you an set them manually to suit you ESC/motor/prop combination.
I dont think they’re used for ESC calibration.
Only the throttle RC channel min and max would be used for ESC calibration - from what I understand.

So if my ESCs do not like 982 - 2006 that my frsky radio puts out, I have to adjust the end points in it, instead of the MOT_PWM parameters?
